the guardian

*Kylara was surprised by what she saw. She was unsure whether she should call the police or not.*

*the gunned car speeds down the road other car speeding after them and it sends out a smokescreen and pulls a screeching u turn and speeds back passing by the chaser who lost sight of us and crashes into a firehydrant and dies on impact and the gunned car speeds back drops me off and speeds off*

"What just happened?" Kylara asked still very stunned.

*gestures for u to go inside*

Kylara reluctantly goes inside. "What just happened?" she asked again.

*looks to see if no1 is around and whispers to u* "that was ace the government bounty hunter. according to the government system he doesnt exist yet works for the government. a while ago when i was missing i was being forced to teach some1 how i fight and was rescued by him. ever since then i promised i wouldnt teach any1 else how to fight like me because then ppl could track me down"

"I-I don't understand any of this. All I wanted was to learn how to fight."

"there are people out there who want me to teach them how to fight so their army is super powerful. and i promised ace aka the guardian that i wouldnt teach any1"

"But I am only one person. How could I be a threat to you and the guardian?"

"some1 sees u fighting with mys tyle. in turn spys on u. then locates me. kidnaps me and forces me to train them"

"I would only fight when we were together against the same enemy. I would not use the style otherwise. Can you talk to the guardian? Maybe I can join the two of you in whatever it is you do."

"i have nothing to do with his job i jsut made a deal with him when he saved me and i cant teach u i honor my promises"

"Yes, I understand honoring promises. I promised my parents I would take care of Tommy when they died. I am willing to do anything to learn, even if that means working for the guardian."

"if u really want to learn how to fight then i can speak to a friends coach so he can train u"

"Thank you, that would be most helpful. Looks like you could use a drink. What will it be Scotch or Bourbon?"

"neither jsut beer"

Kylara goes to the kitchen to get them both a beer.

*flicks the top of the beer bottle off and takes swig of it*

"Uh, what I said before. I didn't mean to embarrass you. But, I do think I am falling for you." Kylara kissed him on the cheek again.

"the thing is i dont know if i love u back but just give it some time. maybe i will"

"Well, at least there is a chance." Kylara smiled at him and then sipped her beer.

*takes another large swig of his beer* "yah"

Soon Tommy walked in and he was wide eyed when he saw Derik in his living room.

*turns to him* "u msut be tommy"

"Uh-yeah." Tommy didn't say much as his jaw nearly hit the floor at seeing his idol.

"Tommy, Derik came all this way just to see you," Kylara told her brother.
